Bruce Wylie spent 55 years on local radio, becoming one of Brockville’s most recognizable voices. Alongside broadcasting, he has spent decades volunteering, fundraising and helping build community events and organizations.

Bruce is running for council because he cares deeply about Brockville and sees enormous potential in the city.

His focus is straightforward: make City Hall easier to work with, encourage investment and business growth, scrutinize spending, and make sure residents are heard before major decisions are made.

He describes his approach as practical, accessible and grounded in the same community connection that defined his broadcasting career.

He says municipal spending should be examined carefully and tax increases should never be treated as automatic. Council should ask hard questions and expect value for every tax dollar.
